This is Venus, cat lovers. An adorable two-faced cat with unique genetic features from Argentina. Its stunning pictures attracted thousands of people if not millions on the internet.
From a genetic perspective, this case is known as Chimera, and for us to have such a cat, we will need two different genes from two different cells, which we will fuse into one organism of different forms of DNA.
However, this could happen naturally without any human intervention as in the case of mosaic, a union of two gametes from two different fertilized eggs. For us to know whether Venus is genetically modified or not, we need to do a DNA test.
Either way, the cat is remarkably gorgeous! Its eyes have two different colors which make her look uniquely adorable.
