5 Simple Exercises to Help You Get in Shape Fast in No Time at All

And guess what? It’s not like you have to spend hours at the gym every day (in fact, no one ever got fit by spending hours at the gym!). You can get into shape with just a few simple exercises that you can do at home, with no equipment necessary.

Get into a regular plank position and hold it for 30 seconds. Then get up and do the same thing again, this time holding it for 45 seconds. Keep adding 15 seconds to each set until you get to 3 minutes.

Get down on all fours and hold a candlestick in your left hand. Then, raise your left arm and leg off the ground and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat with the other arm and leg.

Lie on your stomach with your legs out straight. Then, get up onto your knees and put your elbows on the ground. Hold this position for 30 seconds to get a nice stretch in your back and abdominal muscles.

This one is a three-in-one exercise! Lie on your back with your legs in the air and your hands by your sides. Hold for 30 seconds. Then, lower your legs so they’re at a 90 degree angle and hold for 30 seconds. Finally, lower them so they’re at a 60 degree angle and hold for 30 seconds.

Get into a starting position on all fours with your hands directly below your shoulders and your knees hip-width apart. Hop both of your feet to the outside of your right hand, then hop them back to the starting position. Repeat on the other side.
