Company Cheese Spread

Company Cheese Spread is one of those easy party dips that always gets finished first. This version is rich, creamy, and full of bacon, green onions, and cheese. The pepper jelly in the center adds a sweet and mild heat that balances the spread perfectly. It looks great on the table and takes very little effort to make.

Company Cheese Spread Ingredients

Cheese Spread:

1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar

3 green onions, chopped

1 cup bacon crumbles

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon garlic powder

3/4 cup pepper jelly or jam, for serving

Topping:

1 cup pecans, chopped

2 green onions, chopped

1/3 cup bacon crumbles

Instructions

Line an 8 cup bundt pan with plastic wrap, leaving extra along the edges so you can lift it out later.

In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, mozzarella, cheddar, green onions, bacon, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.

Add the topping to the bundt pan. Sprinkle in the pecans, green onions, and bacon so they sit evenly on the bottom.

Spread the cheese mix over the topping. Press it in well so it holds its shape. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.

When ready to serve, pull off the top layer of plastic wrap. Flip the bundt pan onto a plate and lift it off. Remove the plastic wrap from the cheese ring.

Spoon pepper jelly or jam into the center and serve with crackers, bread, or pretzels.

Notes

This spread holds its shape best when chilled well.

You can swap the bacon for turkey bacon if you prefer.

Any pepper jelly works, so use your favorite level of heat.
